- What is Klyra?
- You photograph your child's completed math worksheet. Klyra identifies the specific misconception behind the wrong answers, gives you targeted practice plus a short teaching script to reteach it, and — after you upload the redo — confirms whether the misconception is fixed. Over time these uploads build a misconception graph of what recurs and what's resolved.
- Does my child use the app?
- No. Klyra is built so your child never logs in. You do the uploading and teach your child from the practice and script Klyra gives you, on paper. This keeps your child's data footprint minimal and removes the child-facing chatbot surface other products rely on.
- What grades and subjects does Klyra cover?
- At launch, math for grades 1-5. Reading and additional subjects are on the roadmap.
- How much does it cost?
- Free gives you 3 worksheet uploads a month, 1 child profile, and basic targeted practice. Premium is $14.99/month (or $129/year) for unlimited uploads, up to 3 child profiles, the full misconception graph, teaching scripts, and two-upload verification.
- How is Klyra different from IXL or Khan Academy?
- Those tell you what skill is weak. Klyra shows you why the mistake happens — the exact faulty procedure — and confirms when it's fixed.
- How do you know the diagnosis is right?
- Klyra only accepts a misconception label if applying that exact faulty procedure to the original problem re-creates your child's actual wrong answer. If it doesn't reproduce what your child wrote, Klyra says the error is unclassified rather than guess.
- Is my child's data safe?
- Yes. Your child never logs in. You black out names before uploading and the app strips any that remain. We collect only a fictional profile name and grade, show no ads, and do no third-party tracking on anything touching your child's work. Worksheet photos and their extracted text are automatically deleted no later than 30 days after processing, and you can delete everything at any time.
- Do you offer human tutors?
- Not at launch. A vetted human-tutor marketplace is on the roadmap, but it isn't part of the current product and we won't advertise it until it's live.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period, and Premium features stay active until then.
